St. Joseph's (PA)'s Ronald Roberts Jr. has won the StatSheet A-10 Player of the Week award for the week ending January 30th. StatSheet's A-10 Freshman of the Week goes to Jonathan Holton from Rhode Island. Also, St. Joseph's (PA)'s Ronald Roberts Jr. is the StatSheet A-10 6th Man of the Week. Roberts Jr. had 70% shooting and 6.5 rebounds per game. The St. Joseph's (PA) sophomore played well in a win against Dayton and an unfortunate loss to Temple.

Roberts Jr. led all scoring for the Hawks with 27 points on 90% shooting in a 77-63 win over Dayton. That was followed by a team-leading 17 point and 10 rebound performance in a 78-60 loss to Temple.

This is the first time this season that Ronald Roberts Jr. has been selected StatSheet A-10 Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is Massachusetts sophomore Raphiael Putney. Honorable mention goes to sophomore Chaz Williams from Massachusetts. The highest ranking player from La Salle was Ramon Galloway who finished sixth.

StatSheet A-10 Freshman of the Week: Rhode Island's Jonathan Holton

Jonathan Holton averaged 34 minutes of playing time starting both games for Rhode Island. He bested all A-10 freshmen in both rebounding (11.0 per game) and free throws (5.0 per game). In a 72-66 loss to St. Bonaventure, Holton topped the Rams in scoring and rebounding with 16 and 11 respectively. Then in a thin 86-81 win against Dayton, he added 16 points and 11 rebounds.

This is the second StatSheet A-10 Freshman of the Week honor for Jonathan Holton. Our own Jerrell Wright grabs runner-up. Mike Powell from Rhode Island receives honorable mention.

StatSheet A-10 6th Man of the Week: St. Joseph's (PA)'s Ronald Roberts Jr.

Sophomore Ronald Roberts Jr., a 6-8 forward, played an average of 30 minutes over the two games for the Hawks. In the win against Dayton, Roberts Jr. took the lead in scoring for the Hawks with 27 points on 90% shooting. During the loss to Temple, he led all scoring and rebounding with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Ronald Roberts Jr. has won the StatSheet A-10 6th Man of the Week a total of 7 times. Jerry Jones, a sophomore guard/forward from Duquesne, is runner up. Chris Johnson, a junior guard/forward from St. Bonaventure, earns honorable mention. La Salle has yet to win StatSheet A-10 Player of the Week.
