La Salle basketball gets the 2012-2013 season underway on November 10 in Philadelphia against Delaware. Expectations are for the Explorers to match last season's performance. They retain 77% of their player minutes from last season and hope to replace the rest with the output of four incoming freshmen.

The biggest gap for La Salle to fill will be on the defensive side, as the team lost 36.8% of their shot blocking. Following that is rebounding, where they lost 29.9% of last year's output.
